Please be good! You can do it!
Yep, she's still all taped up in the closet. I really will be excited to open her! Only one more day to go! And then I can read her books on the way to VA in the car. Maybe I'll read them out loud and make dh listen too, so he'll love her.
Yes, Kit was a loner doll at AGP NY. I'm not sure why they had her in her swim outfit. I mean, that's not very sanitary--lunching in your swim togs, is it??
I am so glad that you decided to be good!
Last night I wrapped Caroline's AGT23. I decided to wrap her because I want too see her face when she opens the box. My 14 year DD and Caroline will get up during the night too see what Santa brought.
I put on the box, DO NOT OPEN UNTIL MOMMY AND DADDY GETS UP. Love Santa
I also wrapped Kirsten's St Lucia outfit and accessories and wrote the same message!
I'm glad you are waiting! Only 1 more day for you. Let us know if your DH likes the book.
gritsmommy--Funny that your kids get up in the middle of the night. When I was growing up, I was good, but my sister was not, so she had to go in my room, and I went downstairs (past the living room with the tree) to wake up my parents and then back up to guard my sis until mom said we could come down.
Since we are doing Christmas Friday night, I will get to see dd's expression when she sees Kit standing there. Santa just comes early, since he knows we'll be gone. We go out to dinner, and he comes while we are gone!
I really can't wait! For both of us!

My poor DD has been getting up every night racing to the tree just in case Santa decided to come early.
Oh...you are going to have so much fun! Santa is so helpful...coming whenever a person needs him to!
You know...I can't read in the car. It makes me sick. I really wish I could, though.
Oh, you are sooooooo good.

I got the chair out once when my husband was gone, but the peanuts detered me. I knew he would be really mad if I looked. Now she is wrapped, so there is nothing I can do.Quote:

Marisol has been in the closet since mid August, and I haven't peaked.
I bet you can make it too!
(Although I was one of those kids who unwrapped presesnts perfectly to peak.)
I say wait and open your doll when your DD openes hers! You will be able to share the moment together!
Be good! I'm glad to hear that you're waiting. I can feel your excitement because I've had a Life of Faith doll hidden away since October (!). Even though I paid for it, I asked my mom to pick one out and wrap it (so I don't even know which doll it is). It is so hard to wait, but it's so close to Christmas, it's not so long now.
I think part of the fun (or even most of it!) is in the waiting, and you'll have more special memories if you remember opening Addy on Christmas than you would if you just opened her up "any old day."
Have you wrapped the box?
